Hey! That plaid flannel hoodie was the height of mid-90's fashion! Mike, did Carol or I accompany you on a trip to Kohl's or perhaps to the Buckle to pick out that shirt?
I recall that I also had one of my senior pictures taken in a plaid shirt with a very similar color scheme. Let's be honest - all of you siblings who didn't graduate from high school in the 90's are just a little jealous of the Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210 inspired looks we were able to sport.
Mark talking about fashion sense is like the Minnesota Vikings talking about Super Bowl victories. They don't have any, and aren't likely to get any anytime soon.
Marge, I believe that hoodie was a Buckle purchase. I figure after taking the Buckle Challenge 650 times, I ought to buy something from there. I also bought a loud Mike shirt from there once. The ladies liked the hoodie, I can tell you that much.
I'm 44 years old. I haven't needed fashion sense for a long time. And trust me, I am the very model of a modern suburban baseball dad.
Marge,
I wouldn't say I was jealous; actually those Luke Perry sideburns you used to wear were quite lovely, as I recall. But I will grant you this; anyone who came of age in the 1970s really should tread quite lightly where the subject of fashion is concerned. A lot of senior pictures in my era looked like they were taken on the set of "Barney Miller."
You know, as much as that hoodie is the topic here, I am actually more disppointed that I let anyone convince me (or worse yet, convinced myself) that putting hair spray or whatever in my hair was a good idea. I remember it being windy that day, but not that windy. My hair in that picture is like my current winter jacket: puffy.

I assume you mean the lunch ladies, right? Or were you wearing that getup when you were making the moves on the U Card Girl?

Mike, as far as the hair goes, I bet you had mousse in it, and I suspect I may have had something to do with it.
So very sorry about that. ;)
