We couldn't have the annual Pat-Dan-Beccah-Marge birthday party without Butcher. So we decided to bring a few versions of him along.

That picture of me with Butcher over my left shoulder is an interesting juxtaposition with the picture I have of Larry Bird over my right shoulder when he sat behind me at a Pacers-Timberwolves game last year. Now, there's a cheesy sitcom idea. "Mike is an ordinary guy just trying to get through life. Like all of us, he has choices to make. And, sometimes we need help making these choices. Mike gets help from his brother-in-law...and Larry Bird?!!"
That is an interesting casting decision...would Butcher play himself? If not, who would play his role? Of course, Larry Bird would sign on in a heartbeat to play part of my conscience. It's a nice gig for him when he's not running an NBA team.

Oh, no Photoshopping - I'm not nearly so high tech. All we did was print some enlargements of pictures at Walgreens. Then we taped them to sticks. And, like very low-tech magic - Butchers for the event!
Actually, it looks like Dan is attempting to eat Butcher. Good thing it's a fake.
